Spin the spinner, beat the clock, skip ahead, level up, and play to win! You’ll need to bring your A-game for this VBS! Life is not all fun and games – even after becoming a Christian. It’s full of twists and turns that can leave feeling like we’ve taken one step forward or two steps back. At Twists and Turns, your child will see Jesus through the eyes of one of His closest friends who stumbled in life and discover that trusting Jesus as Savior and following Him changes the game entirely. Jesus guides us through the twists and turns of our life!
When is it? June 25th-29th from 6:30-8:30pm
Where is it? Lamar Baptist Church in North Arlington! (Look for the giant blue roof.) Our address is: 1000 W Lamar Blvd, Arlington, TX, 76012
Is my kid old enough? We accept children who are entering PreK-4 to completed 6th grade!
Do I have to pay anything? Absolutely not! Our V-B-S is F-R-E-E!
How do I register? We suggest registering your kids in advanced with our form below! (Families can register their children in-person at the event.)
What if my child cannot attend all 5 days? That is totally okay! If you can only come 4, or 3, or 2, or ONE, we would love for you to join us the days you can make it!
My child is bringing a friend. Will they be together? We divide our VBS groups by grade completion. So if your child brings a friend in a different grade, they will be placed in different groups. Fortunately, we have Rec time and our Worship Rally with multiple groups, so they will get opportunities to have fun together!
Can my child bring anything with them? We do not allow children to bring any bags or backpacks to VBS. The only exception is when our 5th and 6th grade groups have water day because they will need a towel and extra change of clothes.
Can I come watch? For security reasons, we do not allow parents to access any of our facilities where VBS is taking place. Parents CAN choose to watch our Opening and Closing rallies from the balcony of our Worship Sanctuary!
Will my child have fun? WITHOUT A DOUBT!
Will my child learn about God? ABSOLUTELY!
