Charles served at Lamar from 1998-2001 and again from 2003 to the present. He is originally from Florence, Alabama. Charles is passionate about reaching children with the gospel and discipling them into mature followers of Christ. He also loves helping families who are struggling and strengthening/enriching those which are intact. Charles has been married to Sandra for 32 years, and they have two adult children, Jenna and Kyler. Charles received his Bachelor of Accounting from the University of North Alabama, two Masters degrees from Southwestern Seminary (Marriage and Family Counseling, Christian Education), and his PhD. from Southwestern Seminary.
