JOIN US FOR CAMP!!
Our Kids Camps will easily be of the best weeks of your child’s summer! (Just watch last year’s recap video to find out!) Check out below for some basic info:
Where do you go?
We go to Camp Copass in Denton, TX! We have went to this camp for many years and are familiar with this campground and camp staff. Check out their website at campcopass.com
When do you go?
Mini Camp (completed 1st-2nd grade) is July 10-11th, 2025.
Preteen Camp (completed 3rd-5th grade) is July 20th-24th, 2025.
How do we get kids there?
We transport your kids to and from camp! For Preteen Camp, we will meet at 11am July 20th at Lamar Baptist church and we will return to the church on July 24th. For Mini Camp, we meet 11am July 10th at Lamar Baptist and will return around 1pm on July 11th.
How much is camp?
Mini Camp is $110 and Preteen Camp is $280. We also have MANY SCHOLARSHIPS available – so do not let money be a reason you do not attend!
What do you do?
WHAT DO WE DO??? We do it all! We’re talking:

- Rock Climbing
- Archery
- Gaga Ball
- Swimming (every day!)
- Crafts
- Carnival
- Fireworks
- Silent Disco
- CRAZY CAMP GAMES!
- Worship
- And learn lots about Jesus!!

Great question! Download our camp packets HERE. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Emily at ecooley@lamarbaptist.org or join us Sunday, June 21st at 12pm in Rm. 105 (the Children’s Church room) for our Camp Informational Meeting! This meeting should last no longer than 45 minutes.
